From the Moorpark Striders Head Coach, Dan Toomey, comes this note about a very exciting clinic opportunity for VCYTC High Jumpers who can jump 4 feet or higher:
I am very pleased to announce that Dwight Stones will be coming up to our area to conduct a high jump clinic at Moorpark High on Thursday May 10 from 4:30 to 7:30 PM.
For those of you who are a bit young to remember Dwight Stones, he perfected the Fosbury flop, set the high jump world record three times, won the bronze medal in two Olympics and won 19 national championships during his 16 year career. The clinic will cost $75 and is open to all VCYTC High Jumpers who can jump 4 feet or higher. The clinic will be open to the first 30 jumpers that sign up on a first come first served basis. Please forward this message to anyone in your organization, or other VCYTC clubs, who you think might be interested.

You do not need to pay in advance to sign up. Just plan on bringing $75.00 cash to pay Dwight.
