On March 19, 2013 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM the Moorpark Striders will be hosting High Jump and Long Jump clinics taught by Olympians Dwight Stones and Mike Powell. Two-time Olympic bronze medalist and former ten-time world record holder in the men’s high jump. Dwight Stones will be teaching a high jump skills clinic which will be open to all experienced youth and high school high jumpers in Ventura County. Two-time Olympic silver medalist, two-time world champion and current world record holder Mike Powell will be teaching a long jump skills clinic which will be open to all experienced youth and high school long jumpers in Ventura county.
