Surfboard Raffle

Good morning Tigres:

Walden Surfboards has graciously donated a custom designed surfboard to the Mountains to the Beach Marathon (http://www.mountains2beachmarathon.com/).  This is a pretty cool board with a background of the race course and pictures of the race on the board itself (see attached photos).

The marathon organizers have decided to raffle off the surfboard with all of the proceeds going to Tigres!!!  This will enable Tigres to continue to provide youth track scholarships to youth in our community and to help purchase needed track equipment.

You will all have an opportunity to view the surfboard and purchase raffle tickets at Sunday’s End of Season picnic.  The board will be on display from 12:00 to 1:00 and tickets will be on sale then as well.  Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20.  The winning raffle ticket is tentatively scheduled to be picked the day of the marathon (May 29th).  Not a bad deal for a chance to win a surfboard for five bucks!
