Hi families,
The Gremlin coaches are really looking forward to our practice meet tomorrow! We know
tomorrow is a learning experience for volunteers and athletes alike and probably will not be
perfectly smooth, but we still can’t wait to see our athletes out on the track!
Reminders for tomorrow:
●Please meet the coaches in the stands under the first EZ Up at 2:00. We need the time before the official start of the meet to give out athlete stickers, write their numbers on their hands, and teach them the protocols for the meet. Long jump is our first event, and we will walk down to the field around 2:20.
●Please make sure your athlete is ready for our ever changing weather in Ventura with
sunscreen, hats, and warm clothing. Also, take the time tonight to label everything including their clothing, water bottles, and track bags.
●If your athlete has not yet picked up their jersey, uniform distribution will begin at 1:30.
●If your athlete is signed up for relay, and is not going to attend the meet, please email or text
me as soon as you can.
