Our last regular season meet has come and gone so whats next?
This coming weekend (5/11) the Ventura Tigres will be hosting JV Finals West. This will be a large meet with 5 of the 8 clubs coming. We will be meeting with the Oxnard Stars, Ojai Roadrunners, Heritage Valley Blazers, and Thousand Oaks Stars.
JV Finals is open to all athletes except those with Varsity qualifying times. Coaches will clarify this for you.
Varsity Finals will be on May 18th at Moorpark High. The Final top 20 marks through meet 6 are now available here:
The seeding meeting will take place Tuesday evening. Your coaches will be discussing the varsity meet with athletes and parents between now and Tuesday late afternoon.
The day after the varsity meet will be the Tigres End-Of-Season picnic (Sunday May 19th). More info to come on that.
Lastly, TODAY is the last day to order your pictures from Christal Photography. The photos available are professional photos from Christal Anderson and Erin Mendez. It was a real treat to see such great photos posted to Facebook after each meet. They really worked hard to bring us some of the best action shots of our kids. If you haven’t done so already, it would mean a lot if everyone orders at least one photo – both to the photographers and to Tigres as this is a fundraising event!
Pictures are $5 for 5×7, $10 for 8×10 or $5 per picture on CD for self printing. Ordered photos will be available for pick up on May 11th at our track meet from 9am to 10am.
