A big shout out to all the parent volunteers for putting on a great practice meet! As hectic as it can be, with many unexpected hiccups, from the coach’s and athlete’s perspective the meet was a big success.
It was really great to see our athletes finally compete and give us a glimpse of what they are capable of – results will be posted soon. It was especially nice to see the sportsmanship displayed by our Midgets as we saw most of our athletes remembering to shake hands after they competed. You should all be proud of how hard they competed and the way they supported each other as teammates.
We truly can’t wait to see them compete against other clubs and watch them improve as the season goes on. With a lot of hard work, this team can be special!
