Hi Youth and Intermediate Families,
Not only was today’s meet fast, but so were our athletes! We really like the Moorpark track, and I again received an email after the meet complimenting our kids! All of the coaches recognize that we have a special group!
Some things to note for this week:
- NO Practice on Thursday, March 30th. Buena is hosting Ventura HS for a home track meet. I would LOVE to see our kids in the stands cheering on the runners in their Tigres gear!
- HOME Meet on Saturday, April 1st. We are hosting the Thousand Oaks flyers. For parent volunteers, this will be your third of four meet obligations. Please know that you must fulfill all four shifts to earn priority registration for next season. Our waitlist is long this year, and we really want all of our athletes to be able to earn that priority status to ensure their spot on the team. - Looking forward, there is NO practice on 4/3-4/8 over Spring Break, but next weekend we will be sending out suggested workouts to keep our kids focused on their goals.
